176 S Washington, Spring Green Fridays and Saturdays from 8 till 2

Named for the favorite “color” of Bazile’s grandpa Milton, Sky Blue Pink is where you can find either one of us scanning the horizon for a nod from an ancestor, smiling light, if you will.

We are currently open Fridays and  Saturdays as we make the transition from regularly appearing at the Spring Green Farmers Market, and into our new home at 176 S Washington st in downtown Spring Green.

Work will begin this winter to expand into this space and bring our Soups! Headquarters and production under the same roof.

On Saturdays, we’ve been featuring: Kolaches! Bazile is thrilled to bring these delightful creations from her heritage to your table. On a dare; we tried a little Habanero jam in the center of one a few weeks back, and now those, too, are flying out the door!
We have GF Pao de Queijo (de Cheese Curd) fresh from the oven, as well as Savory and Sweet Scones, Almond-Anise Biscotti, Sourdough Crackers, Olive Oil Cakes, GF Muffins and other creations we’re coming up with on our whims. There’s our STBF (soon to be famous) sugar-free Granola available, too.

We have hot soup available (to go), most are vegan and all are gluten-free. Be it vegan Red Bean Chili, Borscht, Dal, Curry, or one of our regular flavors, Soups I Did It Again is serving hot soup with “paroxysms of glee,” as my friend Judy loved to say. We also feature a daily Frittata after 10 am.

Our Grand Opening was held on December 9th and was a great success! Thanks to our community and social media, we had a great turnout and were amazed and humbled at the outpouring of our friends and extended community. Thank you!

We’re slowly expanding our hours of operation to become a regular destination for pastries and light lunch. We will be offering refrigerated grab and go items in the near future. We are working on our SEO and getting our Google footprint updated. Thanks for your persistence when you’re sent to random addresses in town.

Coming up on our third anniversary of our figuring out something  for David to do during the pandemic, we combined our superpowers of loving how and what we cook to share with our communities. We’ve been providing delivery service almost every week to our friends in Dane County and the Farmers Market here in the village. Through connections and resources, we’ve formed a relationship with the International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, where, delight of delights, we get to serve forth our hand-crafted menu items amidst the intermittent screams of the plumed dinosaurs. I men: c’mon!
We’ve catered private events as well as maintaining food service for The School Of Architecture when they visit the area each summer.

We have been able to grow in community by being available at local mercantiles, including: Wander Provisions, Prem Meats, Cathryn’s Market (Dodgeville). Cathryn’s has also included our Bialys on their menu for some time, too.

Our French Onion soup has been on the menu at Noble Rind in Virouqua for a couple of seasons.

We participate in Dane Buy Local’s Soup’s On! Fundraiser every winter and have had great sales and exposure through their efforts.

We’ve been at Woodman’s West (aisle 21) for about a year with 5 flavors to choose from, and 4 flavors at Festival Foods on East Washington in Madison for our core audience. Thanks for everybody who uses those resources. The numbers there help us apply at other stores in their families.

Thanks!

Bazile’s Blissful Borscht for Ukraine solidarity!
1/2 of all sales of Bazile’s Blissful Borscht go to World Central Kitchen relief efforts in support of the crisis in Ukraine. Thank you.

We are available at Prem Meats’ Spring Green location. A great inspiration when you’ve got a veggie/ vegan on the guest list at home!
Our soups are very stew-like because we don’t add a lot of extra water. Try them as an entree by stir-frying your favorite protien and then adding our Phuket-Me-Not Curry for a wonderful main course.
